  • Managed a variety of clients and projects including Google (Commercial / Kitchen Renovations), Apple (Commercial / Lab), Samsung (Commercial / Lab), Stanford (Healthcare), Lockheed Martin (Governmental / Commercial), a large residential project, and others. Work included tenant improvement projects, office build-outs, ground-up design-build, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment installations.

  • Managed 5-16 projects at any given point from start to completion (proposal to closeout / construction administration) ranging from $100k-$42mil in project valuation across multiple jurisdictions and states.

  • Successfully completed projects, either with standard or expedited design schedules, and maintained transparency and communication of the design process with clients and internal teams.

  • Communicated transparently with employees, clients, client designers and contractors, contractors, engineers, and General Contractors. Communications were held on a one-on-one basis, team meetings, job walks, and through various forms of electronic communications. Open communication, accountability, and management of all teams ensured the success of a well designed and well built project.

  • Ensured code compliance of drawings using CBC, IBC, AHJ, Accessibility, Health Departments, Fire Departments, CalGreen, and GreenHalo by developing detail & drawing standards, red lining, and permit technician communications.

  • Created and/or maintained Client-developed guidelines, Due Diligence Logs, Basis of Designs, closeout documentation, and information sharing requirements..

  • Encouraged company use of Revit by developing Revit standards and training of colleagues. Using Revit, the company was awarded more projects and the company’s client base expanded.

Meta (Formally Facebook) Event Project Manager | FGPG · 04.2017 - 02.2020 · Huntington Beach, CA, US

  • Successfully developed and managed the program Oculus Anywhere. This program consisted of the design and construction of Oculus shipping cases, coordination of timely shipment to and from required locations, overseeing quality conditions of the product, and client required changes of the program. There were a total of 150 Oculus Anywhere cases that would be shipped worldwide for various events.

  • Designed and developed Oculus, Portal, and Facebook event spaces at public and private events. Each space was tailored to maximize the efficiency of Meta product usage in high impact and heavily trafficked areas while drawing in spectators and participants. Each space was required to meet Meta and Meta product branding guidelines, remain within budget, and set up and demolished within time restrictions provided by the  location requirements.

  • Designed high-end residential and boutique hotel projects focused mostly in the schematic or design development phases. Work would include the design and development of the structure and all interior design, furniture, art, lighting, landscaping, and casework associated with that project. All rugs and casework, most furniture, and some lighting  were designed by myself and Renata, and produced by local artisans. 

  • Designed within Mexican and Historical Preservation codes and regulations.

  • Produced various design proposals to be presented to the clients for approval. Building design proposals consisted of Sketchup and AutoCAD collaboration to visualize the impact of interior and exterior design decisions. Interior design proposals consisted of product layouts and suggested design selections of client pieces, potential purchased pieces, and design ideas for potential internally designed and constructed pieces.

  • Provided furniture and drapery rentals and designed spaces at events ranging from house parties to red-carpet events. Some major events included a notable charity event at a Sacramento Arena, Amazon shareholder events, Screen Actors Guild events, and televised TV shows. Scope of work included cost estimations, product layouts and selections, coordination of installation and demolition, and invoice management.
