We complete many requests to install new tools or equipment for a variety of clients. Some of the tools are smaller only requiring an electrical connection and seismic bracing whereas others also require mechanical, plumbing, or fire alarm connections. The samples provided are only some of the types of installations we have completed.

My contribution to these projects varied for each project. For some, I was a Designer, working alongside a design team and a lead Architect, where I completed drawings, oversaw submittal completions, and maintained meeting minutes. For the projects where I was the Project Manager, I would complete the above and managed all design meetings, contributed to the drawings, ensured permits were received, and oversaw construction administration amongst other tasks.

The image to the right was the installation of a very technical tool over 15’-0” in length requiring mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm collections. For this project, I was a Designer and collaborated with a team and lead Architect.

This project was the installation of sound booths. The booths required fire sprinkler, electrical connections, and seismic bracing. One booth also had to be reconfigured to meet Accessibility requirements. A sound engineer was brought on board to ensure the rooms were soundproof requiring STC curtains, double walls, and STC rated doors. I was the sole Designer and Project Manager for this project. The above render was completed by me.
The above was the installation of an MRI machine in a designated room. It required electrical connections and seismic bracing only. Due to the size of the room and the machine, our focus during design was ensuring clearance and egress requirements were met. I collaborated with a design team and the Lead Architect for this project. This floorplan was a collaboration between myself, another designer, and the lead Architect.
For many of our projects, I create Revit families to accurately portray the equipment in its desired location. This project was multiple tool carousels installed in a basement. I completed the modeling for the room, shelves, and carousel, and another designer completed the render.
The above is one of many of these machines we have installed for a client. These machines only require electrical connections and seismic bracing. For the machine to the left, I was a Designer and collaborated with the design team and a lead Architect. For the machine to the right, I was the sole designer and Project Manager.
We installed many servers for a variety of clients. The photo above is the installation of a variety of servers with a Hot Containment Aisle that required egress compliance, fire sprinkler, and electrical connections. For some of these projects, I was a Designer, on others I was a sole Designer and Project Manager, and others I was the Project Manager who collaborated with a design team. The above project was the latter.
